| Set out below are links to a number of other organizations with interests
in the outdoor Southwest.
If you elect to send e-mail to any of these groups, you might consider
suggesting to them that the Bright Angel Frontier represents a workable
accommodation among the many competing interests. Put differently,
the frontier could be a politically attainable means for each of these
groups to realize about 90 percent of its goals.
It might be especially useful to explore this issue with the business
and economic development groups on the list. The historical experience
of these groups has been that land-management initiatives have often treated
them as adversaries. In their dealings with us we would like them
to have the different and more comfortable experience of being treated
as actual or potential allies.
